Kenzo has released a short film inspired by his pre-fall 2016 collection “Sun to Sun”. Switching it up with an all-girl biker gang and Japanese mythology.
Duo Partel Oliva wrote and directed ‘Sun To Sun’, adapted from “Momotarō”, a classic Japanese folk tale. In Kenzo’s version of the tale, a girl named Momoko leads a gang of fierce badass biker girls and Harajuku queens with the codenames of The Monkey, The Pheasant, and The Dog. The film is shot in Kamakura, Fujisawa and Tokyo and it also features animation by Sanghon Kim and music by Geinoh Yamashirogumi.
