Here’s a few artist that sure give the “modern” aspect in the Music Industry. Meaning no sugarcoating, no bullshit, no society standards,  just given talent. Combining soulful tracks, upbeat R&B with a twist of funk. Separating gender appreciation from their music, they stand out in every possible way on their own.

Tiffany Gouché
The Inglewood singer-songwriter comes through with eight-tracks of straight up baby making music. If you can’t get the job done with this one playing in the background, then I don’t know what to tell you. Production is handled by Nate 3D, DK the Punisher, SiR, and Gouché herself. With her first single directed by CALMATIC , expect more from Tiffany in 2016.

The Internet
Syd tha Kid and Matt Martians, two producers who met on the Internet back in the MySpace days, released their first EP for free online and whose third album Ego Death received critical reviews. One of the most out of the box groups in this generation, with lead singer (Syd) describing how people write on Tumblr just thanking her for making videos, saying that she really inspires them, and they want to be like her.  “I decided to do it because I wish I had someone like that [an openly gay female artist] while I was coming up.” On homosexuality in the media, Syd –  “We didn’t come this far to make a statement about Odd Future and homophobia. It was to showcase a song by the Internet. But over the years I’ve come across so many dyke singers, dyke rappers, people with real heart and passion, and it’s a shame that not one of them has made it. And I get it, the world is just now starting to become open about homosexuality. I can’t really say I’ve contributed to that, and I’m grateful to the people who have set a path for me to be who I am today. And I guess in that sense I want to return the favor.”

20-year-old rapper DonMonique has created her sound with her debut EP, titled “Thirst Trap. Adding “Thirst trap,” in DonMonique’s usage, is also a musical genre that she has, just maybe, invented. She uses the phrase to describe her sound “because my music is trappy but at the same time it’s cute and it’s sexy. Featured with hypnotic trap track “Pilates,” and her latest single “Drown”. The hook in “Pilates” slurred social media due to her mentioning The Jenner sisters last year.
