Jerk Chicken was a concept event Minced Milk created in collaboration with The Zen, Amsterdam. A reggae/dancehall bar, where people came in for the ambiance… the Irie energy and great food. In the past 12 years many artists, musicians, dj’s, poets and other performers have blessed their stage, hailing from all over the world and spreading positive vibrations through their art.
Although the bar closed last year March during Covid-19, they are grateful to have been able to create a platform for black music and culture and provide opportunities to local talent. Zen’s mission to find a suitable space for their cultural stage in Amsterdam continues and will keep on organizing reggae concerts as ZenSocial Productions.
